Hey everyone. Starting today, I will no longer be updating my livejournal. To keep up-to-date, please read me new blog at http://www.mikecrutchfield.com/blog. Also, in the near future, I will have a full website there too. Keep your eyes open.
BTW - I will be keeping my LJ account to read friends only posts, and occassionally comment, but that's it.

So really, a big update is coming soon....oh hell...just keep reading lower for the full update...but I HAD to post this little tidbit.
We were having trouble getting on the net, but anything that was either cached in my systems DNS cache, or I had bookmarked by IP address, so I figured out that Comcast's DNS servers were down. Simple solution, go to the router configuration and type in the IP addresses of two other DNS servers....But where am I going to find two DNS server IP addresses when I can't connect to any named URLs? Simple.....Pull the UofM DNS server IP addresses out of the back of my head. :-) Those servers are just 1 node removed from a root DNS server....which also resides on the campus. Random memories...

BTW - I will have a big update coming soon. I know I haven't touched this journal in a while, but I have been a bit pre-occupied. Working on the The Greater Swiss Moutnain Dog Club Of America website has kept me busy.

What a Maryland game. The Terps became the first team to sweep the blow devils, I mean, blue devils, in a season, since the Terps themselves did it back in 95...talk about awsome!
The water heater went up tonight....sometimes before 3AM, been cleaning up since 3:30...long day ahead
Ok, so here is what is going on lately:
1) Truck is fixed. I am temporarily out $200 while Geico goes after the guy....now I play the waiting game again.
2) New stove arrives tomorrow. Kenmore, Stainless Steel Gas Stove w/ a 5 cu. ft. oven. 1 "Big" Burner 12,000 BTU, 2 9,000 BTU burners, and 1 simmer burner, I think around 5,000 BTU.
3) Found out what caused the leaky pipe. Going to attempt the fix tomorrow. The cause, Drywall screw from when we fixed the leaking wall tiles the first time. This means I get to play with fire tomorrow.
That is all.
